In 2002, when I rediscovered them again, thanks to the internet. Till then, the only source of Prodigy music was for me a small cassette with mix of their stuff (mostly from Experience). My cousin gave it to me back in 1996, when I was only 9 years old, lol. Already at that time it was one of the few things which I could listen. I still have it, but the quality is damn bad after years of playing it.

I became a fan in 1992, after the 'Out Of Space' song an video. At first, I really hated it, thought it was bollocks, but it slowly grew, and after a couple of weeks, I was hooked. Then I heard 'EITP' and the rest is history.

euhm... a fan.... prolly 1996 when I saw m live the first time =)
before I loved the tracks that I have of them on tape or CD. Mostly on besthits-albums. Round 1995 I first got Experience and MFTJG, FOTL followed soon =)
But real fan, prolly 1996, when I was 12 LOL!

I think it was in 1999 so that's what I voted.
Might have been 2000 but I just don't remember, hehe.
I remember the time when I really started to get into it. It was cool 'cause there were 3 great albums! The bad thing about that time was that Prodigy seemed dead at the time although there were the Dirtchamber album and the Maxim album but that wasn't really Prodigy...
But as a young boy - in 1994 when MFTJG got out my older brother played that album a lot and I actually liked the tracks back then too (I was 9 years old). I used to play Doom 2 on my brothers PC while listening to Prodigy, hehe. That was pretty cool. But I wouldn't say I became a fan untill 1999-2000 because that's when I started buying their albums and really get into it all.

Loved Evil Lurks & Charly but didn't start getting into them until 1992, that's when I started buying records. It was the release Everbody In The Place & fire/jericho which convinced me.
Remember having a form of depression around that time ( a bit crazy for someone so young at the time I know)
but discovering The Prodigy genuinely helped me change my perspective on things.
Thank god for pirate radio
