As fans we like to put them on the throne but what's up with that, I don't see how that changes the music. As long as they keep touring and make new music, it's all good.

The only bad thing that can happen is that they would get shitty hours to play on the festivals ^^

immunize isn't a good tune, but when I think of it, most music isn't great to me. Like I said before, I feel sad for having Liam's name on this mediocre tune. But when I'm honest with myself and this whole pendulum - prodigy comparison wouldn't be around and I would hear this, I would probably not dislike it as much as I do now, but I don't think I'd pay attention to it as well.


I've also been thinking, the prodigy exist for 20 years now, in some way it's normal to have the new hordes pick other directions in the music that they want to hear, it just happens all the time. It doesn't bother me at all, actually I would question my own taste of music if the main stream youth of today would be listening to the prodigy the way I do. I wonder, maybe I'm getting too old to pick up the new stuff they play, I can't stop thinking it's all much more boring than back when I was a kid(meaning 12-16 years old, I'm 25 now).


Sure, prodigy music is still relevant and fresh sounding today, but so is Pink Floyd. Still I don't think the main stream youth is listening alot to pink floyd. But that doesn't damage the status they have as a band and musicwise. That's how I see it with the Prodigy. Some silly pendulum-kids will be like: who the fuck is the prodigy? Well why would we get involved with these people? To educate them? Let's be honest at that age you do not want to be taught anything about music anyway, let alone by an old bastard.

So in conclusion, let's not become cynical people who don't like the direction electronic music is taking because it's not how we imagined it
I don't mean to offend anyone but that's just how I see the way people behave on these forums atm(including me, until this revelation ) As long as the prodigy doesn't start making music like the load of crap that is out there, everything will be just fine

didn't really notice H on it at first and didn't really dig it, but just out of curiosity i listened to watercolor (i'll never get those 4 minutes back) and immunize right after that. it has way more power and energy than other shit pendulum produces these days and now i do listen to it every once in a while. it's still a bit boring but i guess they now have a nice banger to play live. i only wish Liam would've produced the beats as well

in fact Pendulum got 'their sound' and would get their success whenever they did remix of Voodoo or not.

IMD album is a rip of their style (omen, imd) and other great new dance bands... don't it? where can you hear 'prodigy sound' there eh?

To be honest thats only two tracks, so imd isn't a rip off of a pendulum album or their style and anyway the sounds used in those two tracks are completely different when compared to pendulums sounds just because it has a similar flow doesn't mean its blatantly copying a style from someone, if that were the case then alot of rock bands that have guitar solo's and the like are just copy's of an original artist, but you never hear people say that about rock music.

Liam listened to alot of new dance acts while writing imd so of course there might be a bit of influence from those acts but the sounds themselves are all created to fit the prodigy style if liam could do that with old hip hop records why can't he do it with new dance acts ?

Liam has always been a pirate in terms of music but he always makes it fit prodigy by the way he samples or takes an idea and converts it to music, saying that the two prodigy tunes sounds like pendulum is just stupid in my opinion

Would you stop this crap already? Pendulum, in my book, is exactly like Basshunter - one track converted into 500 albums. They suck big time, and if some people like them, fuck'em too. This is a Prodigy forum, not Xerox-type bands or Prodigy-wannabe's. Whoever says that Liam copied Pendulum is either insane or 12 year old.

You wanna hear my opinion: I dont like Pendulum ( not that they suck but I just dont like there style). I dont like this track. Good for them if Liam likes them, its his choice.

Another opinion, and its my opinion!!!, I hate the new prodigy image. Arent they to old to dress like that? I hate the scarf in the pockets shit, the bleached hair and the tight pantz! looks to childish!! AND ITS MY OPINION!!
