Post subject:  SUGGESTIONS: What should The Prodigy do now?

an idea i had...

alright, finishing the album isn't such a bad thing. The boys got their own label Ragged Flag, now Take Me To The Hospital for their own release. They have all the power now. So what do you guys feel the boys should do?

this is a kind of a "suggestion to the band" topic that i think should be taken seriously. Liam and the boys have been known to check the forums every now and then. so why not make a separate section for actual suggestions from fans... by this i mean serious suggestions.

like the "Please oh please, play this song" category where we can request tracks, maybe they'll see a high demand for a certain tune and give it a shot.

or "Please play here..." and give a good idea of a locale they can play at in the area suitable to their showcase obviously.

how about the "Don't be coy and give us that demo, Liam" since it's better with us than just on some laptop or home studio of his. request tracks Liam should share with us.

as fans, we can give ideas and suggestions for the group to think about. since they have full control. and it's something the other fan sites don't really have. yeah we voice our opinions all over the board. but this will be a more respectful and controlled topic.

this is meant to be taken seriously, any rude or ridiculous comments will be removed. this is in respect to the band. and is a place to let it be known what we would like to see or hear and let them take it into consideration. a way to make it more presentable and approachable to the band.

my suggestions, eventhough obvious:

-LIVE CD/DVD... BLU-RAY HD would be nice of a live concert... could wait more down the line until the band is ready to retire. i want a Prodigy HD DVD!!!

-either put up the demos on their site in a more orderly fashion or release an unreleased album one day down the road, would be a nice gift for the fans. i think we would all buy this because they should pick the best stuff from past to present.

my request: Trigger w/Maxim and Keith (i still love this track)
---------------We Do What The Fuck We Want w/Maxim

-i would request "One Man Army" live, the faster mix with that vocal over it

-where would i like to see The Prodigy play near me... fucking MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. i wanna see the boys play to a fucking sell out crowd there. get some cool opening acts, could be big.

just an idea. would make a cool spot for Liam to easily navigate and be like "what do these motherfuckers want now?"

Once this albums done with I'm all about Dirtchamber V.2. I'd rather they do that than anything else tbh.

Cool topic! Thinking only in the short term I would like to see the new album and a bunch of UK gigs (what with me being from the UK obvioulsy! :-D ) . I would personally love to see them rock it solid until maybe the end of next year's festival season, then take some time to work on and expand Ragged Flag. Whenever they're ready after that, some new material in EP's etc plus a steady flow of good new music from the label. They've been the biggest band in the world already so a step back into the more militant days of the Jilted era - turning up at festivals on a low key stage then decimating every other band there! etc - would be a pleasure to watch. 8-)

first I suggest for the people here, let's do only one post which we edit if we change our mind (except if we comment someone else's post), so it keeps this topic easy to read and no useless blabla

right now I say it simple:

- first release the new album when ready

- come make a show in Montréal, Canada once, I don't know how many Prodigy fans there remain in here but I AM a Prodigy fan and I'd like to see you guys here :)

- I know you guys wanna move on, but give the fans a gift, a CD on which you put some unreleased tracks the fans want and haven't got yet

- another live DVD isn't a bad thing, if you do one you can put on it some more interviews and special features

that's what's been coming to my mind

i loved the vocals back in fat of the land. seeing keith lazyly jump around in circles because he has no lyrics to shout out, thats sad. seriously give that boy a job. i am shocked everytime i see the newer live recs, makes me cry :(
(or, keith, loose some weight and dance again ^^)

... so, vocals please

and danceable music again. i thought the shadow was a good step into the right direction. now that i hear that new demo, i fear youre devolving...

and why not some more collabs...

but most of all, keep it new!!!

bring the bigbeat back and stop with this annoying electro dance punk crap. just my opinion, I want deep synths and heavy beats.

Stay true to your fucking self and what you say. This will gain you a shitload of respect. False promises is something for governments to say, not for musically anarchistic people. Where's the honesty? :?

Post subject:  Leeroy Thornhill

- Colab. with Rob Sulpher Holliday (he rox and is good on vocals as well =) )

- Maxim and Keith on Vocals for a few tracks, some solo, some together.

- LEEROY BACK, he's no dancer anymore, I actually love his singing skills and he even knows how to make some good tunes as well =)

- overall, and Liam also mentioned that before..... Prodigy is a BAND so writing tunes can be done solo, but you really need more input from other artist/members like the ones I wrote above

Prodigy  ROX!!!
