Post subject: | Prodigy Mixtape to promote album |
I was driving around today and listening to Fort Minor's We Major mixtape and started thinking......Liam should so put out a mixtape. for everyone to download of things that he wont release. Imagine the unreleased tracks and different versions of tracks that they could put on a mixtape. It would also be something that could separate themselves from all the other electronic groups out there and get themselves back in the public conscience. Along with those reasons it would also be a nod to Liam's love for hip-hop. Think about it if Prodigy put out a free downloadable mixtape and we started sending it to music blogs, tons of people would give it a listen just cuz its free. After hearing the music it would be hard not to like. That would create a huge buzz for the band and the new album. someone should seriously mention this idea to Liam, I know I would love it! Anyways just an idea...what do you guys think? possible tracks for mixtape: anything not making the cut for the new album new or old tracks or b-sides mashd up with hip hop tracks wake up (kool keith version) slang technology (YBUMW with Noreaga) No Souvenirs (fuck it release it for free that way there will be no pressure) Good Morning (Juliet Lewis) any old live tracks that aren't going to be released nuclear trigger the Radio 1 tracks new remixes of others bands or of prodigy tracks (ex No Good 08, Jericho 08) any rareties or mashups |

i'd love it but if your gonna promote the "new" album why not use parts of tracks in the mixtape, instead of the old stuff that only prodigy fans like us would really like ? |

damn the fort minor mixtape was pretty cool and interesting, same quality tracks as tyhe album, but usualy this is something hip-hop acts do, not electronica producers. liam could jus put this tracks on download on his site.and if he does this he could even delay the real album for next year with a good reason. but i doubt he would fo such a thing, cause liam willl use parts of the unreleased tracks to do other ones, so..........prey for a miracle, or make a lot of noize on this forum and on neksite cause liam definetely reads this posts |

I really don't think The Prodigy need to promote this album that much as anyone who's anyone knows about this album already. It's not like they care about single or album chart positions. Saying that though, any Prodigy extras are fine with me. |

They need fucking commercials all over the place, and they need a fucking good single to make the masses interested in the new album. Ffs only we know about it, and your mates of course, because you talk about The Prodigy all the time... |

liam should take the songs you guys put on the music for the jilted genration fan editions, and mix them, remix them , play with them, throw inthere some of his songs and release a mixtape.it would be a great way to show some respect for the prodigy fans |
