Whats up guys , ive been working on this idea for few years now , my collection is quite large with some rare stuff and common stuff , but i want your opinions and help , ive taken my whole collection CD by CD , 12" by 12" and began scanning and retouching the covers to get 600DPI resolution scans of every cover from different countries etc etc, ive been ripping the CDs @ 192 kbps and so on , my question is who would be interested in helping me out with this project , i have few rarities that will remain unopened like the FRESH PACKED CUTS but i know one of you out there has to have a opened version of it and access to a scanner , if youre interested the task would be simple , Scan the cover / lable on a color scanner at 600+ dpi , and possibly make a ISO of the CD/DVD or rip of the Vinyl , send it or upload it somhow so i have access to it , upon completion of the project we would have to figure out a way to host it so all of us have access to the Braindump Collection ,,,,, ideas , comments , opinions ,,,,,, hit me up and lets make this happen !!!!!!!!

most wanted scans\rips at the moment

1 Dirtchamber Promo ISO/Scan
2 Fresh Packed Cuts ISO/Scan
3 Everlasting Fire ISO/Scan
4Girls Mexican Promo ISO/Scan

all bootlegs \ rarities \ boxed sets etc etc

hopefully on the weekend ill compile a list of things i have so far so i can post it on here

Well, I cant really help you on this one. Though, I do have an inquiry concerning this project. Do you happen to have the cover of Girls (Mexican Promo)? You know, the one with one two dolls? Its one of my favorite covers.

i wouldn't mind some high res cover art. hook me up with that. :D

also, for who ever takes on this task, why upload an ISO of a CD to you, when you're ripping 192kb/s? An ISO of a CD will be 600-700mb, where as 192kb/s mp3 will be less than 100mb.

I'm not sure where you're getting at with all of this.
We are NOT hosting or sharing commercially available Prodigy material here :?

Jericho , the idea of the braindump was to give access to the rare stuff to all prodigy fans that dont have access to those things but are eager the hear / see it , as far as the ISO idea 192KB/S is fine although im really anal about differences in sound quality , i figured it would be easier if the rips all came from one person using consecutive equipment and settings as oppose to having one person rip a cd with itunes on a sony dvd rom and other person rip a cd with windows media player on a HP brand dvd rom , im not sure if youre catching the drift ? as far as mexican girls promo no i do not have a hi res scan of that but id love to have it as well as you , hence the idea of a Braindump , when i say braindump i dont mean BRAINkillerDUMP , braindump is simply a collective of data where multiple people hav access to the knowledge database , i spent well over $5000 USD on my coletcion so far and im not sure how long ill be able to pull this kind of spending although i love all things prodigy , thats why i asked if anyone was interested in helping. by the way DIRTCHAMBER PROMO , EVERLASTING FIRE and FRSHED PACKED CUTS are NOT commercially available :P

Great idea!

I have an ultra rare XL recordings DVD Promo that features BGAT, awesome cover art so I could scan but not sure about copying any of it
