I also visit a good forum (if you like hip hop, r&b, rock, and some electronic) called Kanyelive. check out the response people are having to the new material. I know I've already got a couple people that are gona buy the album. It's kinda interesting to see the response of people who aren't on Prodigy forums. Anyone else spreading the word? link to my thread http://www.kanyelive.com/talk/index.php?topic=78423.0 |

i've been trying to help out promoting over at echoingthesound.org, a nine inch nails fan forum... NEW PRODIGY! the posts started back when AONO was gonna come out, i started talking about the new album, even put the "Omen" radio rip for people, and the pages grew. pretty cool forum. oh and yeah i'm shocked no one ever really talked about this. Trent Reznor had the last 3 shows of the "Lights In The Sky" Tour professionally recorded in HD from multi-angles. he put it all up online for fans to download and make their own live DVD of this tour. that forum is organizing a special 3 disc DVD, including one of the Las Vegas show where over a dozen fans snuck cameras in and filmed it from multi-angles to edit together when Trent made announcement that their might be no DVD. he gave hundreds of gigs worth of content for fans to edit. for free, as a Christmas/NYE present. how fucking nuts is that? i mean even if you don't like NIN, you gotta admit that's some gracious and inspiring shit to do. he is truly a leader in the digital music world. i was at the New Jersey stop of this tour, for two hours they played, the visuals were absolutely stunning. breathtaking at moments. it's was just spectacular. you be there and see it. a DVD is nice, but the true experience is what you need. it's almost 3D the way they use lights and screens. check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGYwjijYRk8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz7CK4pyWwA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpdGHleaCr4 The Prodigy need a good solid live DVD. i think we should demand it! full on, straight through, Blu Ray HD shit. |

Meh I don't think the prodigy will make a new dvd anytime soon. Like they are always saying they're all about the live act you know? People can download their tunes, they can download shitty assed recordings amoungst some decent ones. They released their law DVD probably because it was in their contract for XL (don't quote me on that though). I think their live stuff is something they want left to expierience yourself. Nice to see people are doing some self-promotion! Good shit! |
