well i've mentioned this earlier when the amazon clips first came out but i think a poll could be alright with this.
Worlds On Fire melody's = Colours melody's
Take Me To The Hospital Lead = Piranha's Leads
Colours = First Warning Guitar
Run With The Wolves = First Warning Guitar & Intro Bassline
thats two i've managed to find, but wont be surprised if theres more, just wondering is this a good thing ?
(EDIT: as said i wasn't surprised when i found these two first warning samples)
people will say: Its never been done before so why should it be done now ? it makes me think liam was limited with sounds on this album, never tried to give it most edge.
other people will also say: its a good thing because having similar sounds in certain tracks makes the album feel complete and full as one.
whats your opinion on this
P.s if u have no idea where to find previews, there posted on 7digital now, check amazon thread, if they get removed by "We know Who" then i'm sure uploading em on rapid wouldn't be too much bother.

Seems to work from what I can hear!
But I'll reserve final judgments till I hear the full shebang!

i believe it is better to limit yourself nowadays as there are so many vst synths and samples out there, i personally have spent days shifting through samples and synth patches on my own stuff. Think back to 90's liam was more limited back then and wrote the best tunes, so what if he used a synth patch on 2 tracks - sure rock bands use similar guitar effects on many tracks!

As long as the tracks are banging it doens't matter if some synth-sounds are being used on more than one tune.
From what I can hear (out of those clips) the album tracks doesn't sound similar even though some sounds might be "recycled".

Do we talkin about samples or similar melodies
IMO it´s nothing new to me, cos Liam always used similar elements and samples in different tracks, but used them in a different way. Sometimes they´re hidden in the background, sometimes they are obvious for everyone. That´s not bad and doesn´t mean "Hey, Liam lacks on creativity", cos it sounds individual and not recycled.
Or would you say, Prodigy does old cheese again and again ??? You cannot say, it´s an development, but you can say "Wow - now it wnt this direction" and especially the track "Take Me To The Hospital" seems to be a track that goes forward and backward simultaneously.
If there i.e. track snippets of the forthcoming album for first time released or new released complete material you can always say, this sound was used here and there again in a particular way, cos this is the prodigy stands for:
To be individual on every album but you always can say "Yes - that´s the prodigy!" i.e. Compare "Out Of Space" and "3Kilos" - those are extremely different, but you can say to both tracks "Yes, it´s prodigy!"
Music production has it´s limits - I think noone should go too far into details, cos the fact we only have C-D-E-F-G-A-H-C as music notes [and in some countries something between that] means, that Liam cannot invent a new note, cos this will sound like crap.
Yes, there are in the new track snippets imaginations to say "Yes, this sounds like a beat Liam used in "Memphis Bells" or this is a melody part I know from "Trigger", but what else you would put in instead of those elements in these tracks ???

no mate were on about elements and samples, like Take Me has the same lead as piranha, it may have been played different but its still the same sound/element/whateveryouwanttocallit
the only track from the old days i can think of that had the same sound in any tracks, was breathe and trick with the guitar. although it was played on a different note you still knew it was from breathe, thats what were on about mate

But "Run With The Wolves" as an example sounds close to "Get Up Get Off" concerning used bass lead - but those are such different tracks and both seems to be individual... it´s not bad I think.
