Got a "Voodoo People / Out Of Space" - Promo on Ebay and after I recieved my item I took a closer look to it and discovered this one:
I know, there are full releases, Promos and Acetates of Discs and the problem here is, that those Voodoo People / Out Of Space promos are white like a printable cd-r. But do they have CD-R printed on it ???
I doubt it, but maybe I´m wrong ? The backside of the disc was green like a cd-r, that´s why I took a closer look to the disc.
And I have no proof to see a difference between a real promo and a self-made promo. I mean, that´s cheatin to sell self-made items for a high price on ebay. Why I should pay so much money for an item I can do by myself ???
So anybody here confirm if it´s self-made or not ???

its a very good point and thats why im not a sucker for promos without sleeves and press information ,not sure if theres any real way to tell thats why , but yes i will buy them (for maybe a $1 or $2) but i will never pay too much , i could easily make my own aswell ,get them a little dusty so people think ive had em for a while and sell them on ebay

i think it might be although i'm not sure.
i've looked at all my cd promo's and none of them have indication of it being CDR but mix cd's i own do so i'm not sure.
i dont own an out of space/voodoo people promo but it should indicate the label number in the insides of the cd
i'll look up discogs, hopefully i can find a picture
Edit: i found a picture of it but not the other side unfortunatly:

compare it with the one you have, the inside looks pretty similar to your one, and it looks like it was just stuck on as you mentioned, so it could be real, you would need somone like arie to confirm this though or somone who is positive they have the real one

MG-UG-80GPM1 and (03318103)

I'm with djstonehigh, I don't use to bid for that kind of promos, I've got a few ones but most of them have a sticker on the sleeve.
Maybe if you put a pic of the front disc we can compare the logo and tracklist with our copies.
