Post subject:  Albums male/female vocal ratio

I was thinking about that the other day, so decided to make a list. I take into account samples and backing vocals, but not the talking in Weather Experience or Intro. I might have missed something, so suggestions for corrections are welcome. Here are the stats:

Album---------male/female

Experience-------10/2
MGTJG------------5/4
TFOTL-------------9/2
AONO-------------5/9
IMD---------------9/4

Piranha has female vocals! My headphone is now broken so it makes a crunchy sound, while it takes away all the high tones and bass. Now, it seems that there are female vocals on top of 'Teeth with razorsharp, vice-like power tear you apart' too, and not just 'You'd better not lose control'.

I would never have heard this if my headphone never broke.

Are you quite sure about the female vocals in Piranha? I mean, I can hear something as well, but can it be just an effect perhaps?
Also, I only recently realized that the "spooky sample", as it was called here, is actually a female vocal sample with some effects. So, it seems that I would have to count Piranha towards the female vocals as well. Not a 100% sure though. Thoughts?

Ok then - it's updated.
It seems that each album has a unique ratio, except for Experience and Fat, which are very similar in that aspect.

Edit: come to think of it, there was actually a male vocal sample during the "storm" in Weather Experience. I always wondered what's the lyric. Any thoughts on that, and whether it should be counted as a vocal?

one of the reasons i love Prodigy so much is that you can't hear all the tricks or hidden sounds/vocals on first listen , you have to discover it by listening the same track several times if you know what i mean , fuck me but those tracks are like a puzzles

It's called a Theremin.

I'm sure about the vocals in Piranha. You can easily spot them on 'you'd better not lose control', but it's also on top of 'Teeth with razor-sharp vice-like power, tear you apart'. It's not an effect or high-pitched vocal, but definetly woman's voice. If I had the chance to record sound from my broken headphone, I could record it. I'm very sure on these vocals. :!:

Yeah there is something at the back..
Not sure if it is the feedback of the theremin/synth or just the original source mixed back there.

You may be right, but have you listned to the Indian song which was sampled for Piranha? I thought it had female voices which resembled that sound.
