Maxim seems to be much more commanding than he used to be. There's the 'everybody jumping' in their law but now he's adding more metal hardcore elements like circle pits and everybody sitting down.
To me this can easily become a gimmick.

It's funny how much negative critics they get from their own fans these days.

Maybe because they didn't change at all in live performances and it's really getting boring after all these years?

After all these years ???
Are tracks like "Omen", "Take Me To The Hospital", "Run With The wolves", "Invaders Must Die", "Warriors Dance" since "years" in the tracklist ? These are all new tunes.
IMO this sentence has more sense concerning the TLTS era, but not in the IMD era.
What you all expected ? I know it´s the prodigy, but it´s not a human miracle and especially not an improved band where every gig is different to any other one.
Be grateful for new and old tracks, if you always could say these are "old" tracks, cos Liam tweaked and changed them over the years.
Poor Liam, Keith and Maxim - lots of moanings here and there
Example: Firestarter
-----------------------
Liam: idea - let´s make something different, so he added new bridge [RATM sample] - slightly different intro, new version, new arrangement, new accords
Reaction: A lot of people (fans) are moaning "we want the old version"
Liam reacts: putted of the bridge, palyed the old version again
Result: A lot of people (fans) moaning again about "old cheese" and "it´s getting boring"
You see - it doesn´t matter what Liam does, never everyone is satisfied...
Example: Voodoo People
-----------------------------
The actual version has lots of changes here and there and is far away from the original version of 1994 - so ÍMO a new "old" track. Better than changing snippets of a great tune and playin it again than an new crap tune.
Example: Break And Enter
-------------------------------
The actual version is a new re-creation of the original tune - rarely an artists in music industry would do this step for the fans. Think about it.
IMO it´s not fair to say their setlists gettin boring cos it rarely changes.
Yes, I must agree, there are a lot of old tracks, but take a closer look to it and see, what happened to them. Also there are lot of LIVE exclusive tunes and other things comin´and going [i.e. Back 2 Skool] -
FULLY AGREE TO MR.HEADS COMMENT, but it´s not funny to see these negative critics of fans in my opinion, it´s sad

Getting boring?
I've been to 5 prodigy gigs, usually years apart (although last year I did see them 3 times hahaha) but that's a fluke. They don't release a new album every year do they, fuck knows when the next time I see them will be. I'd be interested to know how many times you have seen them my friend? I hope it's not a case of too mcuh of a good thing is bad for you. i.e. you saw them so many times their act has now become menotenous. Either that or you just generally find their act boring, in which case I'd ask why you were posting on a prodigy fan site?

Imagine new gigs with less screaming and warriors and more of the old skool maxim.

I don´t get the point ! You´re not happy about how he is "mc-ing" ???
What else should Maxim do ? Should he do a jumping jack or should he cook spinach with scrambled eggs on stage, selling some ice-cream on stage or what ???
If you´re not happy with Maxim "mc-ing" okay, opinion accepted, but offer other things he could do on stage ...
Look at loooooooooot of other band-leaders, singers, etc. What would you expect after years of Rolling Stones ? Hey Mick Jagger, stop singin´- it´s boring.
No sense in the critics IMO - There is nothing that Maxim done different these days than older gigs. Agree to Fifer´s opinion, too.

maxim's mc'ing became much more stale over the last years. He should be a bit more lyrical, that's what i expect from entertaining mc's.

Maxim is one of the best MC's to date!
Have seen several others on dnb fests or w/e
he got the lyrics, the appearance, the moves and still knows how to work a crowd... nothing changed much lately. He needs new lyrical tortures though =) get's a bit boring hearing same stuff over and over, year in year out
