Post subject: | Essay on Fans of British Bands |
Hello Prodigy fans, I really hope I am posting this in the right place and that it is not going to irritate anyone, but I was hoping some of you wouldn't mind giving me your opinions on an essay I am writing about fans and fan communities of British bands. What I wanted to talk about, in particular, is fan forums and the importance of giving fans of a particular band/ artist etc. a place to display their feelings and opinions. I also wanted to talk about the importance of rules or guidelines on a forum and how they create a more positive space for fans to talk about their chosen band etc. I also wanted to talk about the different responses fans are likely to have to different types of band, eg. an emotional response, a simple enjoyment of the music etc and how important these are. Many thanks and again, I hope this is in the right place. |
