what do you think?
anyone remember the '96 breathe tour? that eboman was DOPE. the videos were groundbreaking at the time, fast cuts and visuals and shit. really great stuff. bought the "donust with buddah EP" right after the gig.
most prodigy warm up DJ's sucked IMO. only tanith (march, berlin) was really good. great set of dubstep.
enter shikari? well... ahmm. not so much.

Yeah Early Foo Fighters were ace in 97, EboMan was pretty cool in 96 and liked his 2 eps on XL but apart from that they have chosen some shit acts the play before them!

Fluke.
Hands down the best support i've ever seen for them anyway.
Saw them twice supporting, so underrated as a live band.

i must say enter shikari grew on to me... at least three songs of them... they fucking sound like my chemical romance but they have songs with a nice dum-dum-beat... like the jester, zzzonked and solidarity
the snyths in these songs are evil
the rest sucks imo
btw the drummer is a beast
2005 at elektricity festival in saarbrücken, they had a german support (one of three), northern lite... they are not a classic support but hey, they were banging live, by far not as emo as they sound in studio

yes, from a drummer's view, i totally agree. but he is a showman, i love that. playing with the crowd and stuff. also he is totally killing his set, very rough drumming. i dont like the sound but it looks funny

Not sure if it's support, but I saw Crystal Method play before Prodigy last Summer....best time of my life.

I've only been to one Prodigy gig so can't really give a balanced answer here, but I felt kind of sorry for Kissy Sell Out when hhe was being booed whilst warming up at Wembley this year. IMO, he was a great entertainer and he really pulled out a quality diverse set without any sloppyness.
It's just a shame how he was to the side where he was hard to see, he had no MC, and he was the one person stopping all the eager fans from watching the best group in the world.

one of the prodigy's most underrated support acts has to be Zane Lowe, he put up a great show at brixton last year and yet got yelled out by the public.
Ah well.

totally agree. his set was bangin and his radio show is very good, usual ignorant wankers at gigs, whether you like who support the band or not you should either get into it and enjoy or just have a beer at the bar till the prodigy come on,, fucking gets on my nerves when people boo and jeer
