lets keep our opinions in this thread shall we ? theres two atm going a bit mental.

we've got polls for every new bit of prodigy, so why don't we do it again ? even though i can't hear any howlett i think we wont get to poll on a new track with prodigy for a long time.

its shit to me, might sound harsh but i dont like pendulum and i dont hear any howlett in it at all, the bass sounds like a wet fart and it sounds empty and really repetitive filled with sounds that are five years old, prodigy isn't even this bad when it comes to repetitiveness. its like pendulum are scared to move on.

I told Colin already, but gonna say it again...

it's almost impossible how much could be put in a tune, how full it can be with all sorts of shit... and still be so empty and emotionless. It's terribly blank, pale and bald.

So unlike anything they've ever done before, I crapped myself.

Right, I loved Pendulum's first album, and ever since they released Propane Nightmares I've disliked them to the point that I find it annoying whenever someone mentions them. I even took all their previous discography off my iPod, partly due to Rob Swire's diss on the DnB scene.

But I actually like this tune quite a lot. After one listen, I voted great. I would have preferred it if Rob didn't use that same synth, which I'm sure most of us can agree is generic and shitty as hell. But apart from that, I'm not going to say I dislike this tune just because everyone else seems to.

Time will tell what the rest of the album is going to be like.

thats why i made this poll, i wanted honest opinions, sure i might think its shit but thats my opinion and i have all the reasons to back up why i think its shit, just like you have all the reasons to say its great, people shouldn't be afraid to say what they like about songs when its in opinions and questions

I think Liam mixed specific elements like the baseline which sounds very good and more raw than Pendulums...
the whole mixing set up tho is clearly by Pendulum that's why it feels it doesn't have much punch...they tend to have a weak m.s. compared to the strong r/l signals.
Also the main synth melody sounds hybridic..like it's half Howlett half Pendulum.

It's a decent tune...
