I can't remember if this was ever clarified, but we all know that We Eat Rhythm was cut from Jilted because a CD wouldn't hold it. Where would it have been placed on the album had it stayed? Say CD's had no time limit, where would it be?...

This. Itseems logical to me, it would feel natural to have it after One Love. If there was more time we also might have had One Love (extended). Oh well. As if the original album isn't long enough.

Should have been a double album if you ask me. 8 tracks in each cd or something. Or maybe have the narcotic suite on it's own cd.
Liam said he was gonna write a new one love version for the album, but didn't have enough time before the release.

+1 I myself think this is Liam's best and most creative time

Interesting suggestions. Personally I always thought after One Love (Original Mix) of course! Wouldn't it be awesome to make the album as it was intended, before any cuts. We'd need The Heat The Energy full version to do that though. Also if someone could remaster We Eat Rhythm to sound better, more like CD quality. A man can dream...

The original version, I think that's the one originally intended for the album. If someone has made it better than great, but I thought the best recording was off a tape...

the version I've seen floating around was apparently remastered by someone on the forum who cleaned and polished a decent rip - dunno who has it though

Yes, I think the same. Liam could easily manage to put out a 2CD set of jilted already in 94.
Shame he havent done that in 08 on more music. I'm sorry not to hear proper studio version of tracks like Vogue for instance.

I think the tracklist would have been something like this
CD 1: 1.Intro
2.Break & Enter
3.Their Law
4.Full Throttle
5.Voodoo People
6.Speedway (Theme From Fastlane)
7.The Heat (The Energy FUll version
8.Goa
9.Poison
10.No Good
11.One Love (Full Version)
CD 2: THE NARCOTIC SUITE
