yeah, so this was a common sorta style back in the rave days, and i cant get enuf of watching it, leeroys moves in everybody in the place blow me away every time i watch it, and keef is pretty slick himself, he goes 2 show u dont need 2 be massive to be able to bend ur legs the way leeroy does (although it does help being a beanpole lol) i was just wondering if anybody had some clips they wanna share of this style of dancing? i cant find much on youtube coz its impossible to search for, its been described as 'technical running on the spot' but thats like saying to someone your needle is in that haystack over there, why dont you have a look?
sl2 - on a ragga tip is about as close as ive got to something similar, also acens trip 2 the moon video has some bird dancin in it and thats good as well. also (lol) the theme by the house crew is kinddddda like that, but nowhere near as good as everybody in the place.
so anyone got any nice suggestions? :D
thankyooooooooooooooo

As far as I know, this style even has a name, it's called 'manic velocity'. Leeroy's moves are better IMHO than Keith's, but both are great, I just find his style a bit more flawless than Keith's.
I even tried doing this kind of style in certain parties, and dare to say it starts working now... :D

it was in fact Leeroy that thought Keith how to dance! Dancing together on stage and at the rave parties Keith learned a lot from Leeroy.
Still, Keiths style is a bit faster and you see Keith doing his own moves in the late 90's
Looking NOW... and I saw Leeroy perform last year 2 times....
Leeroy can still do it, Keiht can still do it.... But they sing more now so dancing isn't what they are supposed to do now....
Voted Leeroy tho.... his style is amazing. He mastered moves noone on this forum could master

When it's just about dancing it's an easy victory for Leeroy. Keith is great, but Leeroy is master .

yeah i was looking about on youtube last night for shit like this, came across some chineese bloke doin all these vids on breaking. nice stuff really.
that vid is just like a melborne shuffle innit, that sorta thing is gettin pretty popular but i think some of it sucks when they lift their leg out and twist, its like summat ur dad does at a wedding. still the running man is cool, just needs more variation when doing it. i love dancing like this personally.
i reckon we shud hold a keef/leeroy dance off! lol we shud all post our vids of us doing the good old rave moves! haha :D

It's hard to decide, i like both dance styles.
I remember, seeing Leeroy for the first time, dancing live on stage ( Funky Shit ) ... With my eyes & mouth wide open! It was amazing!

When you compare their dancing styles, you are basically only looking at the period that Leeroy Thornhill was still a member of the band. Back then Leeroy was a better dancer than Keith Flint in my humble opinion. Seeing how Keith's style has changed through the years, he is more of an entertainer now than a dancer. My vote goes to Leeroy. No doubt about it.
