Post subject: | Help with "Girls" melody notes and midi info... |
I know this is a long shot, but I was curious if anyone possibly had the midi file for the different melodies and basslines of "Girls" or even knows the different notes to help with a little project that I'm working on. I can't really place all the notes by ear. Many many thanks for any help that you may be able to provide. Also, does anyone happen to have the main songs that Liam sampled for "Girls" highest possible quality? Ripping from YouTube isn't the best, unless there's something that grabs the highest quality the original file was uploaded in??? Broken Glass - "Style Of The Street" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAfOUbvZKhY D-Train - "You're The One For Me" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXl7f757gqI Any other discovered "Girls" samples from The Prodigy fanbase??? Many many thanks everyone! I'll be sure to share this project with the BK crew once it is finished. |

I did a HORRIBLE house remix back in 2006 or something like that. i still have the file on my old computer. I can convert the notes to midi if you like. But i cant do it before later tonight. I remember i got the riff down perfectly. But that was the only good thing about that remix. |

Yeah, whenever you have the chance to set the midi file or even just telling me the notes... whatever is easier. And be sure to send this remix of yours as well, would like to hear it man. |

http://speedy.sh/2ptKC/girlsriff.mid there you go man. Its a ugly riff IMO.. you need a badass synth in order to make it into a real riff. |

and the remix i made will go down into the grave with me. Hahahaha... i understand, we producers all have a track or 2 or 3 or 4 that we look back at and ask ourselves "What the hell was I thinking? What version of me made this crap?" I was listening to your 10 minute opus on Soundcloud... always love the sound of acoustic guitars and electronic backing music. |

..we should have our own Girls Remix Competition... given that Liam never made that happen. (Remember that?) |
