I got hold of (and it took me a while to find it, this was before internet shopping) Alntern8's 'full on mask hysteria' and although it's a full on rave album, i would never want to play it in front of my friends cause it's way too cheesey! :(
so who else has done an album like experience, rave with a slightly sinister touch and still really cool... ?

I know of all those raves back then, dreamscape, fantazia etc, but if I get live "dj sets"?, there's a man over the top shouting stuff? I don't understand what that is. :x

PS im from poland i hope you understand my english :)

the only other artist i thought to capture that Experience energy is ACEN.

they have a rare, hard to find album called "75 Minutes"

and hits tracks such as "Trip II The Moon (Parts 1 and 2)," "Window In The Sky," and "Close Your Eyes."

Can you (or someone) upload or show a link to some stuff of Acen?
It would be great, I heard some of their songs and they were ace.

Yeah Acen are excellent. Never heard of an album from them though - i'll have to hunt that one down!

Another rave era band who released many albums, is 'Shut up and dance'

Tracks include:-

Lamborgini
Raving i'm raving
This town needs a Sheriff
5,6,7,8
£20 to get in/£10 to get in

And they also had a record label of the same name (shut up and dance)

they did some cool remixes too... check out 'Nicolette - o se nene' remix they did!

They are still going now, but produce bland garage/breakbeat type stuff that is outclassed by the likes of DJ Zinc, Sticky e.t.c

problem is with the "experience" era is that alot of the artists (well the ones i like anyway) never brought out full albums , it was always vinyl or singles , and the albums are f"ing hard to track down, i have the Acen 75 minutes album however i wouldnt really call it an album because its really full of remixes http://www.discogs.com/Acen-75-Minutes/release/47477 but if ya's cant find it i'll upload it,

im after this in full if anyone can help as i only have half of it http://www.discogs.com/2-Bad-Mice-Kaoti ... 4131?ev=rr

Agreed, although there are a lot of really nice tracks on there, most of them are just remixes of the same tracks (in fact over half of them are a different mix of window in the sky).

Here's a compilation mash up album that won't disappoint:

There might be a download link somewhere on brainkiller, its definitely worth looking into imo

Agreeing with you NEOREV, Trip II The Moon is such a tune.

Love old school rave music, here's a few tracks:

To be honest, I think The Prodigy took it to another level, that's not to say that this stuff isn't good, but it's just not phenomenal. Also, look up 2 Bad Mice, they have some pretty good stuff like Bombscare.
