First of all, please understand that what I'm writing here is my OWN opinion, so don't start flaming or stuff like that. Thank you
Being a Prodigy fan for as long as I remember, I recently came to a shocking conclusion, and I'm using this word because I would never believed I would say it: this is the best music genre ever. Why? Well, first of all, I'm seeing reggae influences in many (if not most) of today's (or past) tracks/hits. In my country, this is becoming a regular thing, reggae-influenced tracks being released in the summer and becoming big hits.
Also, as much as I love Prodigy and as much as I'm a "hard bass/drums/loud stuff" lover, nothing gives me a better feeling than reggae music. It seems such a simple genre, a few guitars, a few drums and percution instruments and some weird accent vocals, but the effect is amazing. I'm enjoying it so much that I can't believe it's so "underground' these days and that I discovered it quite late in my life. You don't hear reggae on the radio, except for maybe 1-2 Marley hits now and then. And it's a shame.
I would never believed a few years ago that my all time favorite track would be a Marley track (Could you be loved), but it is, and I could listen to this for hours, getting chills and without getting bored.
Anyway, what do you guys think? What are your opinions on reggae music (past and present)?

At 0:54, look at the black guy's face. THAT's the effect I was talking about. And you can't control it, it just makes you smile.
