It's hard to start writing a first real impression description, what is building up after these clips.
This time they obviously went where they heart is. Theres hint of Gasbard's T-shirts and hes wacky mustache, hair and glasses in every tune.
It's like theyr cristmas Fabric mix what was sent down the toilet by Fabrics ppl. Wonder if this will happen with this album, can audience accept this turning back to sounds what are long ago forgotten.
I think they will loose many audience and also get many new listeners. It's still mainly electronic, but still, the sound and the vibe is totally something else.
For me, I have always admired work of Led Zeppelin and Queen. and i think this kind of groove is not bad to have back, it's just interesting combination what they have done.
These tracks have some cool groovy beat, track AVD is something what have proved a lot in many listens. turning the volume up and foot starts to tap the floor, it's kinda silly, but it gets me, i like it more then Civilization.
Some other tracks have some raw synth sound, some have this freedom rock sound, melodic and positive.
I listen very different music. i think it's just question of how can you adapt to it, how much do you allow your mind to bend.
i look forward to full leek, and would like to see how the music world will
buy it.

I will probably (pre)order it without doubt. Finally electronic artist with a sense of honesty... They could've pulled a Cross², or just used their style and put, you know, dubstep/wobble in it and it will sell in 2011. I really like how they went with more subtle, yet powerful tunes... to me, even the sampler tracks have got personality, they're distinct.
Yup, can't wait. It sounds fresh, I can hear all the influences from music my parents listened to when I was a kid. Love the 'studio' sound too, just like they said, it's like a jam session in a studio with electronic stuff and lots of stuff going on, which makes it sound totally real and even organic. Kind of like the same feeling I got with Chemical Brothers - Further. It's very solid and basic, but powerful & clever.
Plus, sounds really polished and raw at the same time. I'm just so happy it doesn't sound like anything that's been released lately.

Thanx for the other tracks, very nice! I'm with Agent Orange as far as my opinions on what I've heard are. I'm glad it's not the same as the first album, something fresh. It has retro nods, strong ones in places, but still sounds fresh and new. Really looking forward to hearing the whole thing. It still has energy, a different kind maybe but it all sounds strong, it sounds like what they wanted to do rather than what they thought would sell...
I'm really digging Canon, great electronic track. Newlands is very rock influenced and doesn't quite do as much for me, but it's still a good track and I'm guessing one of the weker tracks on the album. Still alright though, not bad...
I really want to hear Horsepower in full...

The funny thing is what we're hearing now is probably what millions will hear in the background of TV adverts in the future, I realise Civilization already was btw ...
Also, a good album review here, worth a read...

Seems like, webpage who was responsible for putting up Canon and Newldands first time (stopthenoise.fr) has video with samples from all tracks. and good quality!

The more I hear it the more I'm digging that Ohio track with that Jamiroquai style bassline, and I love Jamiroquai so that's a good thing! Can't wait to hear the full album!...
