what is your fav tool?

Software-wise...
I'll definitely have to say Ableton... it's my main DAW for the last few years.
I've tried a few of them, Ableton was perfect for my workflow.

Hardware-wise... Access Virus TI2 Polar... this thing is a beast! And very versatile. Amazing pads, deep basses, raw leads... it has it all.

But Ableton is what puts it all together in the end... so Ableton is definitely my #1

Izotope Ozone mastering software deserves an honorable mention as well.
Use it on all of my final mixes.
I also love a lot of Native Instruments software for making music.
