woah its gonna take a huge amount to match up to Killing In The Name.
i'm feeling rather confident even if the X-factor winner does get his cd released this week, i mean 75,000+ ahead of him seems pretty safe, but i'm going to wait until saturday to purchase again from amazon.
but still people should still buy if they aint yet, i'm sick of Karaoke Talent level pricks, the guy looks like such a gimp.
fuck i might even buy lady gaga's single to try and get her number 2, at-least she produces her own fucking music !

Woa, I know the CD has only been released today for Joe but this is excellent news.
Where do you find these sales figures filtermadg? I'm curious to know the album midweek charts, as RATM might top that too if iTunes is anything to go by

I suggest that you don't buy from the same place twice, buy from different places and you should be fine. That's what I've done. Save a few purchases for later this week..

Quote: yo, heres the deal, we r doing well with the 'getting rage to number 1' to fuk off 'cowell the machine ' campaign . it's currently ahead, but lets keep the pressure on. anyone out there who hasn't supported and bought the tune yet, get on itunes or whatever and do the right thing. this is the biggest rise up against the ' industry manufactured shite ' in years and thats why its important --- and fukin funny at the same time act now. power to the people ! got them from the Haven Board:
http://fatherandy2.proboards.com/index.cgi#music
you need to sign up if you wanna see the midweek chart data, thats where i have been keeping an eye on all the Prodigy Album/Single updates for most of this year - i don't think im well liked there as most of the Haven members tend to be fans of RnB, pop music, etc lol, but you need someone there to represent "Alternative" music - they really hate us fans of indie, metal and hard electronic and are very elitist and think they own the chart lol
its like 70% pop fans 30% "Alternative" fans - there are no kids though but you would think there are, as some of the "adult" Pop fans are really narrow minded and are happy that our music is not doing as well as it did in the 80's and 90's. They love the fact that the charts are filled with crap and celebrate it - really sad.
so by all means sign up and lets have a brainkiller invasion to make it 50-50 lol

According to some of the reviews, it doesn't count if it is less than 40p. Do you know if that is true?

the X factor song is also selling for 29p in amazon, so i have heard that it will count but some people are downloading Rage from other sites just incase.
someone e-mailed amazon and officially they said it will count, but some are skeptical
If you are really skint then go ahead 29p for Killing in the name is a good deal, but if you can afford it download elsewhere if you think amazon are lying and are secretly on Cowells side lol

Found the Quote:
Amazon.co.uk Music Team says:
"We can confirm that sales of MP3s from Amazon.co.uk, including "The Climb" by Joe McElderry and "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against The Machine, count towards the Official UK Charts."
So people keep buying RATM!!!! Only 29p!
