One of my most anticipated albums this year and I'm very disappointed after listening to the first track. Hope this is the worst song on the new album...

nowhere is this referred to as a single, and the description straight up says 'The band has issued this song on the eve of the Inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump to serve as commentary on a politically-charged, historical moment.'

it might be on the album but it was released today as commentary on Trump.

I will be very happy if this will end up as an stand-alone track. We will see...

An article from AV Club says that a press release statement reveals Hallelujah Money will not be a single for the new album.

So, it's apparently just something to build up hype. Something similar Eminem did back in september releasing "Campaign Speech" and announcing that he's working on a new album.

Anyways i think Hallelujah Money is beautiful. The end result sounds a bit like Massive Attack, actually. Clemantine is FANTASTIC on this. Love that he brings the weirdness. The instrumental itself is doomy gloomy and groovy, and Damon's part is lovely! My heart sinks when the notes change and he sings "how will we dream". Brilliant track, thanks for throwing us a bone Gorillaz.

We should expect the first single february/march and the whole album out on april/may.

Great news if it's not a track from the new album and just a one off. Could not listen to it twice, pretty boring for me if not bad as a whole.

Demon Days is finally getting a vinyl release next month!

Gorillaz will release ‘Demon Days’ on vinyl for the first time next month. It will be pressed on double translucent red vinyl, with the package including an art print and sticker pack.
The reissue will arrive via the Vinyl Me, Please subscription service as the company’s Record of the Month for April.

New Gorillaz music will premiere tomorrow!

BBC Radio 1 has confirmed that it will “premiere brand new music from Gorillaz” on Mistajam’s show on Thursday from 7.30pm UK time / 3.30pm EST. It is not yet known whether it will be one track or more.

So now that I've heard six tracks off the album, this may possibly be the worst Gorillaz album. I actually prefer The Fall over what I've heard so far.
