Our boy Martin James is a talented and busy man. Sir James is a professor, a music journalist, author of The Prodigy biography We Eat Rhythm (Part 2: We Live For The Beats coming soon), owner of the label State Of Bass, and one half of the band Nostalgia Deathstar. ReCharged Attachment is the accompanying remix album for their debut release Charged Attachment. The duo is inspired by 80s electronic music, darkwave, and the Blitz era from 1979-1981, which inspired the global electronic post-punk/ synthpop underground. You may notice some BK Music One alumni featured on this amazing collection, like Matt Aquila, Thermonuclearity, and Neorev.

Marin James also helped compile the Generation Blitz compilation, featuring exclusive songs and remixes alongside classic tracks, bringing together many of the most exciting names from the global electronic music scenes inspired by the Blitz Club era. The collection includes overt homage alongside creative deconstruction of some of the sounds and styles of the period. The set moves from sophisticated synth pop classics to electronic new wave floorfillers and takes in minimal electronic synth punk and outsider post punk along the way. These are the sounds of a global scene that is an open space for all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, ages, and abilities. A second volume is in the work 2022.
