Wow seriously that tune is totally lame. I know it's a really shit rip and it will sound better, but it's such a generic tune, with the exact same synths they always use. Sounds like a 100 other DnB bands (with an added gay vocal). Go listen to Terravita, sounds like them (except their tunes are good) or other Technique Recordings groups.

I mean if it was just some random 12" coming out it would be O.K. But better stuff is released on a weekly basis, not something to wait 2 1/2 years for and have them acting like they are guarding nuclear launch codes with their new material like it's this totally ground breaking new sound. This would definitely be one of the weakest tracks on their first record.

If this is the reason they haven't played any new material live for the last year then that's a f'n joke. I was beginning to have my doubts about their new album, and if it's anything like this then we are in for a very average album.

BTW if you don't usually frequent DOA, then the Pendulum thread... or should I say complete ass-bashing is a good time to start. It's funny.

It's just so... safe. There's no risk here. It sounds like it should've been lifted from a song which couldn't make it onto Hold Your Colour.

Yeah exactly. It's completely safe, but even worse, it sounds so generic. Like something they'd write as a throw-away track, not the first single of what *should* be one of the biggest "DnB" records ever (note I use DnB in quotes now).

Yeah man check out Terravita. "Adult Robot Kung Fu" on their player kicks the shit out of Granite... actually I'd say 3/4 of the songs on their player are better than it.
