Perhaps this isn't the correct place for a post like this, but... i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction in terms of what equipment to get if i wanted to write/perform live electronic music. i have a "rock" band and i want to incorporate a heavy electronic element. I don't like the idea of using computers live and the first thing i think i want to buy is a drum machine. Please suggest some things! And maybe give me a quick "electronic music live" for dummies tutorial. I've seen prodigy and daft punk a bunch of times and i don't really understand what exactly they're doing lol. i'd like to learn. i appreciate any input. thanks. |
