i like alot of the 32 bit era tracks mostly ones from the snes like zelda and some mario ones stick in my head from playing super mario world the 8 bit never really left any memories and the 16 bit just a little bit, like the duck hunt tune sometimes i hear music in 32 bit games and i just wonder how anyone can do such good music, the tracks blend into each other and they can change the way the track flows with all these different kinds of instruments like the super smash brothers soundtrack, the brawl soundtrack is unreal with up to date versions of the tracks. i think the music in retro games gave off the atmosphere of playing a retro game, theres a certain way that makes them so different from todays games and music is one of the aspects that have changed in the new games. even the zelda soundtracks of today have changed a fair amount it might still be zelda but the feeling between games such as a link to the past and twilight princess is so much different and i think its also due to game music changing |

I allways liked the music from Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. The arcade and snes-version had the best music. |

I remember this game: Journey to Silius. I had it on my old NES. IMO it had the best music ever in a 8-bit nintendo game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBM-m82Za_0 |

Is this not from the "mario brothers" series?? When you "take" the mushroom in game "lives" account grow 1+, and mario had "1UP" sign over his head. I m not sure, but i'm think this is it. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ix8gYj3Wjk By the way, this is the best Spor tune. |
