http://www.nme.com/news/oasis/47001 Following the Manchester band's cancelled show at the Paris Rock en Seine festival this evening, he posted the following statement on Oasisinet.com. "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight," he wrote. "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with [singer, his brother] Liam a day longer." Its Noel, but come think of it without Noel theres no Oasis....unless they carry on they wont be as good without Noel. |

This really makes me sad as I grew up with classics such as Wonderwall, Live Forever, Champagne Supernova, Don't Look Back in Anger, etc. I guess Noel will finally make his solo album which he has been working on for years and years. In a way, I think a breakup was needed because I believe Noel is finally free to make some music on his own. He will be the next Lennon, guaranteed. He will probably make a great record like "Imagine". All of his solo stuff has been great so far and I am sure he will probably get a record out in a couple of years. Expect great collaborations with some of his pals... can't wait for that record to be made. |

same story again and again... He did like 2000-2001 period. The brothers always fighting and stuff. I'm sure he will be back to Oasis some day. He can't live without Oasis, Oasis can't live without Noel. |
