Quote:
Tongue N’ Cheek is the fourth studio album by British rapper Dizzee Rascal. The album contains the number one singles, “Dance Wiv Me”, “Bonkers” and “Holiday”. Although always the clear leader of the British grime scene, Dizzee Rascal is new to the amount of commercial success he has experienced recently. Two of the songs on Tounge ‘n Cheek have topped the UK singles chart before the album has even been released, throwing Dizzee into the mainstream consciousness. Accordingly, Tounge ‘n Cheek moves away from Dizzee’s grime roots, embracing pop and dance music, however the razor-sharp lyrical ability and wit remain at the core of hissound.

Not bad. Except Dirtee Cash, that's just a bad ripoff of Stevie V.

Load of shit, anyone that knows anythin about music knows all Dizzee Rascal is doin is ripping off the musical talents of other people (cause he;s got none himself!), whether the tune be new or old! (i.e. Dirtee Cash) Where's the talent in rapping some lame-ass shit over the top of some half decent tunes! Hopefully Liam will relealise this shit before he puts out some shit with Dizzee where it'll NO DOUBT go to no.1 just purely cause everyone loves Dizzee!

love the album. yes it's not lyrically complex or innovative as far as production but its just good fun and that's all its supposed to be.

I like Bonkers, Road Rage, Dance Wiv Me, Dirtee Cash and Holiday. I'm not usually in to such commercial stuff as Dance Wiv Me and Holiday (what the hell is Goldie doing in that video?) but they are catchy. Road Rage is the best track for me. The other tracks aren't that memorable for me. I only liked around 5 tracks off the 'Maths And English' album too.
