I already joined that and got a load of my mates to join too. It'll be the best Xmas number 1 ever if this works! Gotta love Killing In The Name, one of the best intros to any song...

I'm in.
Just sent an invitation to 98 peeps in my friends list and promoted it in a status update too. I'm sure we can be more successful than last year with the Hallelujah group

Its all a conspiricy by Simon Cowell.
Rage are signed to Sony BMG so whatever profits it makes for xmas only makes that smug cunt richer.
Still though would be funny if it made the top ten.

lol nah, none of the money will go to Simon, he's just the owner of Syco Records (a subsidary label which doesn't get any money from the music released on Epic Records - which Killing in the Name is signed on).
Also, the campaign isn't exactly anti-Sony. It's anti-Simon. It's against the fact that Simon Cowell has grabbed the spirit of the Christmas No.1 by the balls and infected it with unimaginative generic pop. Plus, lets face it. Rage Against The Machine really deserve a UK number 1 after the level of influence they've had on one of the greatest albums of all time (which I don't really need to name, as you all know it already).
RATM for Christmas No.1! Hell yeah!

Don’t worry, apparently it’s just down for maintenance, should be back up within a few hours.
as long as people keep downloading it will have a chance, what an awesome way to end a shit decade with an awesome song from the 90's - arguably the best era for music!
What a "fuck you" to the sheep who buy X Factor, go RATM!!!!

Edit: thats me done my contribution towards this, i've a feeling though alot of the members on facebook are probably just joined that group to look cool or some shit, if all those members actually purchased it, then it will hit number one.
only time shall tell.

Bought mine earlier.
Also I should point out that any purchases of the track from amazon are not counted. So in other words, DO NOT BUY THE TRACK OFF AMAZON.
iTunes, Play, HMV, and all that are good as far as I know. Also, don't buy it too many times (3 is probably a safe amount, but only from different stores) as your IP may be tracked and the sales might not count.
