It's not a good release for Liam anyway. It could've been much better in my opinion. More variation, lyrics on top, better use of the samples (too obvious 'n all that). It sounds unfinished to me, unpolished. Sorry for bitching but if he releases this type of tracks, he shouldn't release them at all. 2007 holds a lot of hope. A LOT. |

Charles Barkley? HAHA, jk. I know you mean Gnarles Barkley. The BEST Electronic Albums of 2006 for me has to be Bt's 'This Binary Universe'. After 'TBU' comes Basement Jaxx's 'Crazy Itch Radio' and The Stanton Warriors Fabric Live album. |

But i found explanation of this on net: "Many people believed that the name Gnarls Barkley is a play on words of the name of former NBA basketball player Charles Barkley. In fact, many radio listeners first misheard the name of the band as "Charles Barkley." But there is no relationship between the two. In the June 18, 2006 New York Times Magazine Burton explains the name came from friends, "making up fictional celebrity names like Prince Gnarls and Bob Gnarley." When someone came up with Gnarls Barkley, Burton wrote it down." |
