Gorillaz have announced the tracklisting of their new album 'The Fall', which is due to be released for free on Christmas Day to the band's fan club members. Damon Albarn described the recording of the album, which was recorded on his iPad over 32 days on the band's North American tour this Autumn, as a welcome distraction from the monotony of touring. "I did it because there's a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it," he told Gorillaz.com. "I found working in the day, whether it's in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well." Albarn added that he thinks of the collection, which wil be released physically later in 2011, as being "like a diary". He added: "I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there's a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America." The tracklisting for 'The Fall' is: 01.Phoner To Arizona 02.Revolving Doors 03.HillBilly Man 04.Detroit 05.Shy-Town 06.Little Pink Plastic Bags 07.The Joplin Spider 08.The Parish of Space Dust 09.The Snake In Dallas 10.Amarillo 11.The Speak It Mountains 12.Aspen Forest 13.Bobby In Phoenix 14.California And The Slipping Of The Sun 15.Seattle Yodel Gorillaz - Phoner To Arizona http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAeUwuUGSaM Code: http://www56.zippyshare.com/v/5225762/file.html

What's up with 'The Joplin Spider' track? I mean it's exactly the same song as 'Small Time Shot Away' by Massive Attack, isn't it? |

Nooooo. What makes you say that... just listen. Bottomline anyway is that this Joplin Spider track has nothing on Small Time Shot Away. Oh man, don't let Stasz hear this. |

My bad, I've downloaded the file with the album which indeed features MA's Small Time Shot Away instead of the original Joplin Spider tune. I really thought that Albarn's just making a fun of us |
