there are mobile fones wit apps or servers attached for music recognition. find a mate who has this, stick the phone to the speakers and in seconds you get the name of the track.

actually i guess somebody on this forum whould have this on their fone

I tried with SoundHound on my mobile but without success

Try the Shazam application for iPhone. Could work.
