i just don't understand why all of a sudden "trap" is considered something new

i've heard this style for a while... now all of a sudden it has a stupid name and everyone's acting like it's something brand new

kinda like moombathon... which people like Diplo have also been doing for a while. now it's just been given a silly name.

not all trap is bad...

i quite like TNGHT

No it's not new "Trap-lol-Step" brought it up to the surface.
This thing is not even a music genre, it's just "raw" studio materia...
What's the point of it??? To encourage the lazy fuck producers?
To me this "Trap" thing is just a marketing sucsess for having people considering it as music genre.
A really EASY way to flood the market with millions of remixes by lowering the music standards.
