How come none of my favourite artists can deliver anymore? First there was Massive Attack with 100th Window, which didn't have any impact on me. Then Prodigy with AONO, which I didn't particularly liked, then Air with Talkie Walkie, which only had one or two decent tracks, Chemical Brothers with Push the Button, a decent club album, but that's not why I like the brothers (though the b-sides Rize Up and Spring is awesome), Coldplay's X&Y was just uninteresting, I haven't heard DJ Shadow's The Outsider yet, but what I've read about it make me not want to hear it, Fluke's Puppy was ok, but not near the quality of their previous albums, Leftfield is dead, Sneaker Pimps is dead (for me), and now Amon Tobin with Foley Room. I had huge expectations for this one, but was greatly dissapointed. It was just too experimental. I can only hope now that Portishead can deliver.... all my favourite bands are letting me down. I feel so alone, or am I just getting old. I have to search for very rare tracks and b-sides to enjoy listening to new music. Maybe I just can't follow the new directions and trends the music-scene is moving in, I feel like everything is changing into something I don't like. It's been years since a new track have given me goosebumps...I miss that. I can't even remember which album was the last I bought...

ok - i'm done whining now, it was just Amon that send me past the edge...
