Tom & Jerry.

Nothing will ever beat them for me. I never watch cartoons other than Tom & Jerry, cause T&J take a few minutes every episode: very powerful short stories, not too much extra bullshit gong on, unlike like Family Guy or Southpark. At first I liked series like those two, but then I figured out they seem to try so fucking hard to make it funny, clever, deep and/or provoking. The references to movies, politicians, populair shit and provoking topics is making me feel ill. I want the classic fun.

Problem is: I can't stand to watch 30 minutes of cartoons... I fucking hate that. I need short bursts of stupid comedy. I never liked watching series of any kind. Lost, Prison Break, anything really. I've stopped watching tv too, last summer. What a relief. The only series I'm collecting the boxsets of and watching with a close eye is X-Files. Fuck the rest.

I wish Adam Philip would make a series of Brackenwood. That's entirely my style of (flash)cartoon.
