Remember seeing the american remake in the theater... not scared at all but i remember it being quite a tense flick! Truth be told only really gory films tend to scare me much hehe

No no no trust me, there's nothing in the world I'm more scared of than Samara I couldn't sleep half a year after watcking it for the first time, and I had to cover the TV i have in my bedroom with a shirt so I can't see it and I took it out of electricity LOL Even when I watced it for 2nd time i was so scared nonstop for about a week ....
I still have nightmares from time to time
But this one didn't take any effect, even though we watched it in darkness & silence

that's fairly impressive! how old were you when you saw the first ring? Samara allways seemed too ridiculous to me...
