Ok I finally found a half decent version of the trailer. Hopefully the real quaility one will be available soon. This is the teaser that was on Transformers for the new untitled J.J. Abrams project code named "Cloverfield". The film is gonna be shot entirely on hand-held cameras, think Blair Witch meets Godzilla.

I'm not really a fan of J.J. Abrams, he did make a good M:I movie, but the teaser was amazing. I can't wait for more info on this film.

Voltron.

Voltron is some kind of robotic lion I don't know lol.

All because of 1 guy in the teaser that says :

"It's a Lion. It's HUGE"


I don't know what to believe, but I know 1 thing for sure this is just gonna be so cool, end of story.

I really don't think a Voltron movie could slip under EVERYONE'S radar these days. And why would Voltron tear up NYC? I'm going w/ monster movie on this one.

Just watched the teaser a few more times and i'd bet money the guy in the street says "its alive, its huge" not "its a lion, its huge".

Yeah I wasn't sure what he said either. When I originally saw it I thought he said "it's a lion", but then when I watched it again I thought he said "it's alive". Not sure. But I have heard that the monster in the film is simply referred to as "The Parasite" and it's not any monster/comic book/TV show monster that we've ever seen before.

The hand-held POV cameras could make this movie really freaky if they pull it off right. I'm very excited to see more.

I know I watched it so many times too lol. The great thing about it was that there was an entire theatre of people who had no idea what it was. It's so rare these days to be truely taken by surprise since we always know everything in advance with the internet and leaked rumours, but NOBODY knew anything about this.

For the monster, I'm kind of picturing something like the "Soul-drinker" I think it was called from X-Men. In the cartoon it was inprisoned on a ship that crash-landed on earth, then it was mistakenly let out and it wreaked havoc on the city. It was a glowing see-through like monster with tentacles and a large mouth which would "drain your soul". It was pretty cool. I dunno, just a theory. This isn't the best picture, but it's something like this:

I'm hoping for something not of this world. Like it's a total badass of an alien thats gonna beat/scare the shit out of us until we find a way to destroy it or whatever.

I had this dream the other day where earth was invaded and the beings invading us were solid black, fast as cheetahs and brutal. By solid black I mean if you looked at them you would see a void of black so in essence you really couldn't see them, just an outline of a figure. I think this dream tied into one I had long ago that I wrote down because it was so vivid. Basically in the 1st dream voids were opening up on Earth. The voids were perfect cubes which acted similar to black holes, only they didn't suck time/space into themselves. They just grew and grew and 'ate' the matter they displaced. In the dream and earth was eventually eaten the the black cubes and I saw a view from space where the earth was devoured and didn't exist anymore.

I always thought I would write everything down and send to a movie studio w/ like descriptions and and art and stuff.

We all love monster movies
