Well, the pics of the new version of KITT have leaked:

Apparently it's got 'Transformer' style shape shifting ( ) and a laughable 300-0mph in 12" braking system. (To give you some idea why it's laughable; the g-forces you would experience from the quoted 12" 300-0mph stopping distance is around 470g's. That's like driving into a brick wall. Without braking. At 300mph.)

Which means this is going to be a typical Hollywood 'throw out everything that made the original so good, and in with everything that we think kids think is cool' movie.

I'm soooo annoyed.
