I saw it and was totally disappointed. Show up 15 minutes into the movie to avoid some painfully boring dialogue and set-up because once the 'action' starts, all you need to know is that Rob is looking for his woman. Too much looking at the characters walk around and out of focus shot of the floor or building. Not enough monsters. Maybe another watch will change my mind but boy was I disappointed. |

It was pretty much THE movie I always wanted to see but was never made... until Cloverfield. I'm amazed and I thought it was very intense. Halfway the movie I realized I was talking to the screen and moving my head to avoid being hit by something. Lucky me: I didn't see any trailers, spoilers or other people's opinions... so I went to the movie without expectations, without information. |

Great movie, although I hope they write a better plot and get some better actors for a sequel. The concept was tremendously awesome though. |

I personally loved the flick. Awesome action and directing. Powerful stuff man. The reason they didn't go for known actors was probably to keep it low profile and blow our minds even more. I found the acting to be OK. PS: This is a theater movie only. Do not, i repeat, do not see it on a lousy computer screen. This has to be experienced why a big screen and a powerful stereo system. |

I'm going to have to get a huge flat screen and a home entertainment system before I buy this on DVD I strongly disagree. Im more sick than on a sunday morning thanks to that moron with parkinson who shot the movie. I had to exit the cinema not to throw up in there. I think the overly exagerated camera shaking and zooming is ruining it all. No problem with making the movie look realistic, but this was absolutely horrible. Amateur filming is usualy not great, but this was extremely bad on purpose. I would give the movie 7 out of 10 stars, but the shaking makes the total score reach minus 70. There was enogh monster for me in the movie though. Best thing about the movie was that some woman in the cinema cried at the end when they all died |

I liked the shakey cam From what I've been hearing, about half the people who saw it got motion sickness like you, and the other half were fine. Kind've an interesting phenomenon there. |

sitting on 3rd row in a completely dark room with the screen up your face doesnt help it either i think. Had it been on tv it wouldnt be so bad. |

i just saw this at home and thought it was pretty good too. liked the whole 'you're there' camera style. don't bother with the first 20 mins though. it's a completely pointless set up for the 'boy seeks girl' storyline. who gives a monkey's |

i saw it on my pc only :/ and i like it very much, although they could show some more detail and less shaking of the camera which is a bit annoying... oh and btw - dvd bonus material is shitty as hell |

I just saw it again on DVD...MUCH better than in theaters and if you're prepared for the 20 minute pointlessness at the beginning its not so bad because your just sitting there like "whens it gonna happen" and 20 minutes pass and your like what the fuuuuck! also i dont know your talking about with the DVD extras XL the visual effects documentary and behind the scenes were some of the coolest I have ever seen for a movie...given I work in the Film industry so that stuff interests me more but seeing the crazy shit they had to do amazed me |
