Lock Stock and Snatch are good films where he is bearable but everything else I've seen has been shit.

He seems to average about six films a year. Either he is one rich sonofabitch or has a massive drug habit. Don't care either way.

Jason Statham is the great personality. He got cool looks & he is one of the best in action sequences. The mechanic is the movie that was written according to his personality . Loved what he did.Cool movie .Saw on this weekend with friends. Enjoyed.

I completely agree with Harbinger... In some movies I find him either over the top, awkward or plain annoying. He's been typecasted actor in a lot of cases, and his range is very limited. He might be 'bad ass' and all, but that doesn't make him a good actor to me. He's fine in Lock Stock, Transporter (but then the movies suck big black dicks), and perfect for Crank... well, that's it. I'm getting tired of him being in every average action movie.

Crank and Bank job are better (probably his best movies .. at least in my opinion) but The Mechanic kicks aswell.

Mechanic was a piece of shit. I was just laughing of the stupid plotholes and wank obvious bullshit. Typical action movie; no brains.

Coming to think of it... the beginning sucked too. With some stupid semi-whore seducing him, and OUT OF THE BLUE we're in a sex scene. Just... so... fucking... pointless... Haha in the movie he says something like 'always make a clean kill, never leave evidence, I'm a pro, pros do that'... and in the end he blows his car AND his house up.. again, fucking pointless. He could've poisoned the dude, do something NINJA style.
