I love the Poker program where the commentators go berserk.
'Aww man ! Did you see that !? OHHH Never been so overwhelmed by watching CARDS ! Ohh MANNNN'

comedy club is the best part for me. the music is shite... not even fucking msx fm radio anymore?? wtf!?!? the music on this game has to be some of the worst choices they made in the history of the entire gta series.. christ even lcs and vcs had decent music for the time eras they were based on. apart from the shitty music, the game isnt bad

Yeah, the music is interesting. I do enjoy most of the music on most of the stations, but where are all the popular songs? They went with a lot of obscure songs for this game.
I haven't been able to ride around, have a song come on and I go "Oh shit! I love this song!" because I don't recognize anything!
The only song I recognized off the bat was the Aphex Twin song on Journey radio.

yeah thats true, the soundtrack is pretty poor, its all new artists, no more guns and roses and all that stuff, when ure shooting hell out of somone its usually nice to hear a song u know well and can sing along to

Whats sorely lacking is the custom radio station, that is something that should not have been left out.

man i must be old...
there are quite alot of popular artists on there actually lol...
I don't know about the electro station but I know people here do like Justice and they are on that station...
IF99 has War, and The O'Jays...
JNR has John Coltrane, Miles Davis...
Liberty Rock has Iggy Pop as dj, and has a track on the station as well as Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Knicks (of Fleetwood Mac), ELO, David Bowie, Q Lazzarus, Black Sabbath, Bob Seger, Thin Lizzy, Genesis, Queen, Black Crowes, Joe Walsh (of the Eagles), The Who, Elton John, Heart, ZZ Top, and R.E.M.
really the list of popular music artists goes on but like someone said, the choices were weird.. the music used to be a huge tie in experience with the game experience and now it just feels so loose and odd, like they tried to make it strange. The Vibe is now one of the best stations on the game and it's a fucking r&b station! lol

If they made that into downloadable content, I would be so happy.

in older GTA's they never used actual Real famous people, guns and roses were that "love (somthing)" in vice city, they imitated it but it seems gta is so big they don't need to imitate no more

I think most of the songs are obscure or from new artists because....
$$$$$$$
Rockstar probably did not want to pay $$$ huge royalty fees so they went with the cheaper music. Probably for the first games the artists did not ask for too much $$ , now that the game is huge they probably want loads of cash for their music to be used in GTA IV...

could be the fact they spent over $100,000,000 to make the game so the music may not have been a big focus after you spend all that money to make a game

fucking hell thats some number.
also found out that on its first week it sold more money than most blockbuster films, totally outselling near enough everything that ever came from hollywood.
games are really really big things now, back in the day you'd get about 14 guys working in a small office in england, the times have totally changed.
i hope the next one in 2010 (just a random year in my head) theres like next gen vice city, that would kick ass

well Halo 3 is the biggest ever commercial release..... out of everything.
I don't know if GTA has beaten that reckord yet but I'm guessing it deffinetly will. Videogames is possibly the biggest commercial industry in the world!
