Post subject: | Trailer Park Boys Video Game |
It Isn't Comfirmed Yet but it looks like it will happen. for those who don't know about the trailer park boys, they are basicly a group of people who smoke alot of dope, drink alot of alcohall, and commit alot of crimes for to become rich so basicly my idols haha, originally and still are doing the famous tv show trailer park boys with 7 massive seasons full of carnage. nearly every episode is avalible to find on google video and even their own movie is on google video, if your intrested to watch it. the videogame is going to comfirmed around september this year, if it wins agaisn't other canadian tv shows or somthing, i'll copy and paste the details below. A video game company in Lunenburg is hoping to cash in on the success of Trailer Park Boys. HB Studios wants to do a video game version of the popular show, and its proposal has made the Top 10 in Telefilm Canada's video game competition. If the company wins, players will be able to control Ricky, Julian and Bubbles on various schemes and missions around Sunnyvale trailer park. HB Studios has been working with TPB Productions, and the plan involves getting the real actors to lend their voices to their virtual selves. Alistair Jarvis, with HB Studios, said fans of the show are an instant market for the game. "They don't necessarily just want to watch Ricky, Julian and Bubbles, but they want to control those characters in Sunnyvale and really enjoy that experience," he said. Telefilm received 69 submissions for its contest. The 10 that made it through the first round are getting $50,000 to refine their plans. HB Studios' submission was only one of two pitches that made the judges laugh out loud, said Kelly Zmak, one of the contest judges. "I think all of us respect the idea of being able to put humour into a video game in a way that makes people belly laugh," said Zmak, president of Radical Entertainment. Only four of the Top 10 submissions will make it to the second round in March, and they'll each get up to $250,000 to develop a prototype. The winner will be announced in September. Personally, i don't think many people will like the idea of walking about doing petty crimes and smoking dope, i think to get the best out of the game "IF" it comes out would be to be a fan of the series, at least check out some of there stuff if u have nothing to do |
