this just came to my head, whats your favourite console from this generation.

this excudes handhelds on the poll and any daft console thing u can only buy in china or on the internet

but would be intresting if the people who have handhelds (psp, ds) to mention what one is there favourite.

360 without a doubt. Nintendo just havn't done it for me this time around. I love playing online games, I think that's what has swung me the most you know. 360's back-log of games just smokes the compotition for me.

Ask me the same question in a couple of years though :D (hopefully new consoles won't be out by then and we'll get developers bringing out some really fucking good games). Remember these systems are still pretty young in life-span.

360 all the way. The wii is only good nintendo games, xbox 360 is the best for the multiplatform releases (do not try playing COD 3 or Splinter Cell on Wii...) the ps3 is good for... well... blu ray movies!

Bad Poll. Why? Stay objective!

Two consoles are listed as how they are, Nintendo had the word 'happy' added to it. It's not objective, somehow I can sense it as sarcasm you know? Get rid of that even though it is happy to most people, I'm hardly playing happy games on it. :?

But...
I will go for 360. Good online stuff, good games. Quality AND quantity. PS3 never got my vote because I'm still not convinced by all games I've played, online isn't as strong as 360's and the pricetag is still a thorn in the eye. Feels like 'been there done that' as well. No wonder they call it Playstation 3. It'll just go on and on. Sorry for being so negative but gaming's about fun for me. With PS3, I'm not that amused as I was and still am with Wii and 360.

Wii has some good games. Very good gameplay. Worst graphics of three, but lucky me I'm not a graphics/power freak. I love Twilight Princess, SSB Brawl, Metroid 3, Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4 and some other games. Soon Mario Kart and Sadness are out, then I know enough games to get the console (it'll be worth it you know?)

So, for now 360's my favorite. I have quite a big list of games I like on this console, making it worth to buy it first of all three consoles. 360's the best base for now. Will add a Wii later for variation hehe.

right im gonna clear things up mighty...



i fucking love the wii honestly i do, every weekend when i used to have a big piss up at my mates we'd play it all night.



i said "happy" not to take the piss but because its really the happiest thing u could play with video game wise, its simple, nice and for every age group, its not built to fucking take out sony and microsoft its built for the people unlike ps3 and 360 who basicly just wanna kick each others ass and nothing more.

Has to be the Wii. Galaxy is my fave game of this decade and the Wii makes it all the better. Having said that the Wii isn't perfect, there are a lot of diappointing elements to it but I still like it the best...

Xbox 360
The range of games for this console has to be the best..and the exclusives...this year for gaming is sony's with games like mgs 4,killzone ,little big planet etc: the online functions of the ps3 are better imo with a better range of retro games to buy (old playstation titles) and which on 360 contains games like doom...i mean yeah these games are timeless classics but who wants to live in the past.
The Wii Is A very good console but it is built for sheer fun..the best thing about it :D

i must say i do like the ps3 too but the fact you can't get the 60 gb model and the fact the 40 gb one doesn't play ps2 or ps1 and well over priced.


i got a 360 elite with 120 gig hdd with 3 games and two wireless controllers and xbox live month subscribtion for 309 quid

now the ps3 for that price you get 40 gig hdd and 1 game and a blueray video, and one wired controller and im sure its 349 for that so its even more expensive !! thats pretty shite in my opinion.

now another thing is the fact the avrage gamer looks at this and says fuck sake the ps3 is a rip off, but the ps3 man will say, the ps3 has better graphics, but only if u record it and watch it in slow motion will you see a graphics change, and sure u can hit back with the free live subscribtion but i'd rather get my games cheaper and my consoles much cheaper and have a bigger memory for all my songs and video's and pictures.


i would have got the wii first tho, but i went with the 360 cuz it was the cheapest and had the most memory and i mostly wanted amazing graphics, i remember playing assasians creed on christmas day, was fucking amazing.
