US-based movie rental giant Netflix has revealed it is considering the idea of streaming movies via the Xbox 360.
The firm indicated that it is keen to get to consumer televisions "in as many ways as possible", but didn't indicate whether or not it had struck a deal to partner with Microsoft.
Netflix is America's largest online movie rental firm, boasting more than 6.7 million subscribers. The company was established in 1997 with its HQ in California.
In the UK, Microsoft launched its own video-on-demand service on December 11 last year. The Xbox Live Video Marketplace allows users to rent the latest HD movies at a cost of £3.20.
