i thought i'd share these tips with u, works great and looks great too.

if u wanna watch your movies and listen to music and view pictures from ure pc to your wii without using SD cards and all that stuff just follow this guide, it should take around 7 minutes to get watching a movie from ure pc to your wii (you can also use this with ps3)

What You Need

:: 1, A Broadband Connection
:: 2, Wii's Internet Browser (Costs 500 points on wii shop channel but if u use tokens from games u can turn the star points into wii points)
:: 3, a decent speed (i use a 2mb broadband and im alright)

What You Don't Need

unlike Xbox's and playstation 3's media centre things you do not need a wireless router or anything wireless, all u need is what u got with your broadband connection and that browser on your wii

How To Do It

1. Download The Internet Browser On Wii Shop Channel (500 points)
2. Download Orb On Your Pc http://www.orb.com/en/download_orb
3. Install Orb (it will also ask u to make a free account, do that)
4. You Will See Orb On Your Side Bar, Right Click And Go To Comfiguration.
5. Go To The Media Tab And Add The Folders You Have Music, Video, Pictures etc etc in
6. Click Ok And Log On The Orb Website http://mycast.orb.com/orb/html/index.html
7. Go To The Settings Button On The Website
8. Click On The Second Tab On The Left Hand Side And Change The Stream Type To Flash (This Must Be Done)
9. Log On To Orb Website With Your Wii
10. Pick What Files You Want To View And Enjoy (No Uploading Required)

That Takes Around 8 minutes and u can watch a big movie on it there, the great thing about it is that you can instantly watch what ever is on your TV when ever you want without uploading waits and download waits as it all buffers while you watch.

Please Note:

You Can Do All This With PS3, iphone, Xbox, (Anything That Has Flash And An Internet Browser And Internet Connection, the only thing that needs broadband is your pc that u will have the media files on)

i hope this can help some people out who just hate waiting for stuff, i havn't tested it on xbox or iphone yet but if anyone does please tell me how it went.

I prefer the Homebrew channel for my multimedia needs. I've been playing all the NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, and N64 games that I love. Watching dvds and such. I dont like using the Wii for internet use, seems like a step backward from the CPU.
