I have xbox live gold and its set to expire in October. Earlier today I found a 12 months live card in one of my old game cases, and was going to use it, but does anyone know if it would be 12 months from this date meaning it would expire in March 2011, or add onto the rest of my time I already have left, so the 7 months i have left then the 12 months on top of it, meaning it would expire in October 2011? I'd hazard a guess that it wouldn't add on, but to be honest I don't have a clue. I assume it's going to expire before you're subscription is up? Where the hell did you get a free 12 month subscription form?

It'll be 1 year from when you current subscription ends, so Oct 2011
