still FOR ME elder scrolls oblivion, the ammount of time ive spent with that game fuckin hours, gears of war i like too but i felt i got much more out of oblivion :D

(if you can't be aqssed reading my reasons for choosing my goy 2006 just skip to the end of my post)

I havn't played Zelda yet but I think my opinion may change when I do.

At the moment it's a tight one out of Gears of War and Oblivion... They both win for various reasons. They both break new ground.

But since gears of War is a completley new franchise and without a doubt THE best looking videogame ever (things will get even better, has anyone seen the Crysis engine? ). Anyone yea graphics don't just win it, I mean Oblivion's were pretty fucking sweet too.

One thing oblivion lacked for me was the abilty to share your adventure with friends. I know it's a solo game but I tend to play a lot of games with my mates. This is where Gears of War exceled for me. Playing the campaign online with my mate is just fucking sweet (and the split-screen is just as awesome). There's nothing like getting your own 4 man team together and kicking some ass on xbox llive!!!

I don't like to choose these things. You can't really compare two games from completley different genres. But as far as having some stellar fun goes GOW does it for me.
