i had ableton 5 and now installed 6. i always wondered, how do i launch a clip holding a computer keybord button and stop it by relasing it.
not like pressing "stop", but like releasing the same button
u know, like an analog keyboard

To (finally, hehe) answer the question, in clip view click the "L" to get to your launch settings and change Launch mode to "Gate." You'll probably also want to turn quantization to "None" as well.
