I can't think of any at all, we were spoiled with MFTJG going almost 79 mins bearing in mind that was 15 years ago but thats not gonna happen again. Tracks nowadays need to be straight to the point and no filler. Its the generation we live in, everyone wants everything yesterday. Case in point that 80% of the people on BK want to hear the album before the release date. Have the fucking patience!!!! We have 37 days to go before we're gonna hear potentially the best material LH has ever produced and if i have to wait 37 days to hear 44 mins of material, i would gladly do it. Edit: And another thing, if people do complain that tracks are too short, there's a program called Audacity, i'd advice people to use it and lengthen or shorten any part of any track they want to suit their tastes. I won't because i will not mess with perfection. RANT OVER!
If I would put my hands on a Prodigy track I would just ruin it. A Prodigy track is so perfect that I can't make it better with any effects or repeats.
Although if I would make the track repeating itself for an endless time's period, that would be good.

............................................................................................................ So what I'm saying is that maybe the tracks on IMD wouldn't be as good if they were around 6 mins each because they might get a tiny bit boring and not live up to their potential.

That WOF track that clocks in at 5:29, I've herad, is only an early demo of the tune. Plus, it doesn't feel, to me, as spine-shattering as what we've heard at the live venues--sounds unmixed. I don't think what we've heard of WOF is the final album version.
Beat 55 was between 2.5 and 3 mins long at the live shows. As far as the length of IMD goes, I'd take 44 mins over nothing, y'know!?
Don't forget the 'Lost Beats EP' with those 4 tunes, that's at least an hour's worth of music...not to mention the forthcoming B-sides from the singles.

Guest01 wrote: Interesting that WOF on this boxset vinyl is 04:50. But we all know that Cd version is 05:29.
4:50 is the length of the WOF version they played on the Invaders Acedemy Tour. The version that isn't as good, I rekon it'll be that one because the track lengths are the same...

I hope not, because this version is stupid!

More like 10 (if it really is over 46).

hmm,i'm starting to think that world's on fire album version will be the last one played during Invaders Academy tour, the one with the messy "stop and go"chorus, which is good, but as mix,i mean the original it's better....that one that lasts 5:07,the first that they played live.

Maybe they'll learn its not as popular, I mean, they soon changed their mind about their firestarter mix and then placed the new bit just at the end to then go into action radar didn't they? Also, they better not put it at the end as it's a banging opening track!!!

Agreed - I guess the fact Liam sees, there are lot of self-made remixes, re-creations of not released tracks are also a reason to say "Hey, if you want a longer version, just edit it´s original source and make your own re-cut."
That shouldn´t be a problem today: Puzzle your own music taste !

43:36 thats the real lenght of the album. I need to say that was quite a dissapointing at the beginning of all that buzz about the new album, because it means every song will be aprox. 4 inutes long and that was sad for me. Prodigy songs needs a more time to unleash their power:). Now when i saw each song running time i'm happy about it, and totally changed my mind. Now album seems to be the perfect one, and definetly will be the best prodigy album since FOTL. Only one thing is missing here. Each album had one fuckin long song, Weather Experience, Claustrophobic sting, Narayan, Meduzas path....And all these songs was perfect. Anyone agree?? cheers
