From the snippet, Thunder is really hard. it doesn't sound like it has very much breakbeat in it which helps me want to play it. no. 'djs' don't just play remixes.
in my case, their sound doesn't work too well being fairly breakbeat. I have been playing the edit of IMD though. Its still feels a bit off, but its short and pretty electro, so it works. Im currently working the Herve remix of Omen into my playlist.

Some reviewers really piss me off. The AONO reviews really annoyed me, and the fact they don't get the recognition they deserve for their past. The new reviews have been a mixture of good and some annoying...

Yes... The Prodgy shouldn't have to prove anything. yet it's like everything they've done in the past doesn't account for anything...

I hate the stupid adjectives that people that review use more than their review almost...
It is fucking dumb.
I could make a review for an album ive never heard with enough adjectives.

I guess Prodigy sadly will not have a very big succes here in germany with the forthcoming album, cos the most people buy the things the media and music market feeds to them. Shows like Star Search and Popstars destroy the whole music industry and if there is any artist who really brings out a good album, the common society gives a fuck to it.
You can be the best musician / band in the world, but if the mainstream don´t want you, you will never have success.
I don´t know, if a lot of people here i.e have or heard the "Victory Pill" album. It´s a really surprising good one IMO but do you think, anybody here in germany knows Victory Pill ? There were dozens of other crap stuff in the charts here floatin´ around and nothing is nearby the quality of an album like that i.e.
Also I see there is a main problem in common society nobody seems to notice that:
YOU DON`T DECIDE WHAT YOU LIKE, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY TELLS YOU, WHAT YOU HAVE TO LIKE...
3 Examples:
--------------
First:
An extremely example in moment is a guy called MICHAEL HIRTE ! He played mouth harp on german TV in a talent show and got lot´s of success. He plays mouth harp very well - i don´t wanna say, he isn´t talented, but IMO you can´t explain his success...
I mean .... C´mon .... why in hell a lot of Germans suddenly should start loving a person how plays mouth harp. He isn´t the best player in the world, he´s not untalented, but why this big success ??? I guess a lot of mouth harp players feelin´pissed in moment.
You can compare this story Paul Potts ones. He is a talented singer, but why in hell dozens of people start like listening to opera-music ???
Second:
Another example some years ago. There was a singer who was famous, called SASHA. He is a great person, not untalented. Everything´s fine, not my taste, but acceptable. After a few years he starts a project called "Dick Brave And The Backbeats" [guess where the name comes from ...?
It was a good and successfull act, better than this stuff Sasha has done before, cos he covered famous songs to Rock´n`Roll versions. It was a really good idea, but if you think about it, you will see a huge BUT.
That BUT means again my question: WHY this big success ???? There are lots of bands totally unknown in public who done great covers of songs in Rock´N`Roll versions but nobody gives a fuck to them. No one cares about it. The "Dick Brave" Project was only successfull, cos it was Sasha.
There were lot of Rock´n`Roll Bands who felt pissed in that times, cos it was a stolen idea with bigger success.... I hardly understand them.
Third:
Years ago a track called "VANGELIS - Conquest of Paradise" enters the german charts and reached number one. It happened, cos there was a famous box-"legend" named Henry Maske who played that track on his last fight.
"Why not ?" you can think, cos it was a great moment on TV that time.
Yes, I agree to that BUT [.... yes, BUT ] WHY this success of a track nobody cared about it before, cos this tune is a part theme of the columbus-movie "1492"
The track should have the success earlier, not after a box-fight.....
That´s the problem of the common society and that could be a problem also for The Prodigy.
Don´t misunderstand me - I wish, Prodigy will be successful as in old Fat Of The Land Days, but the other way around I will be afraid of the radio stations, which played songs over and over again until death....

people who take notice of reviews have no real opinion themself, time wasters, i occasionally buy nme, mixmag, kerrang or whatever depend on whos in it , but i never really take notice of what they say, my review is my ear.
some people will always hate electronic acts , the same way people hate metal bands

Eh?
The Prodigy doesnt make music. Only retards listen to music.
If you listen to Rihanna while driving, youll mostly throw the "radio" away.
If you listen to Take Me To The Hospital, youll drive over people, and crash on a tree, breaking all your bones and when the ambulance arrives youll shout "FAKIN ILL!"
These reviews are for music, the crap idiots listen to.
Saying that The Prodigy makes music is like saying God eats cat food for dinner. The Prodigy gave me a new life!
So, please Music reviewers, stay away from The Prodigy!
